The Examination cell of SGK Government Degree College Vinukonda was established in 1980.Since its inception the cell has taken the responsibility of organizing scrupulous commencement of all examinations. The examination cell comprises the Principal, as Chief Superintendent ,one faculty as Convener, two faculty as members and one from non teaching staff. The examination cell acts as the nodal centre for all the degree colleges in Vinukonda and also taken the responsibility of scrupulous conduction of B.Ed and other university examinations besides organizing exams within the college. The cell adheres strictly to the uninterrupted commencement of the exams and acts as a watch dog against any kind of discrepancies and malfunctioning.

Functions:

I. University Exams

• Timely collection of OMR scripts and Question papers from the university authorities.
• Distribution of Question papers to the respective exam centers and collecting the answer scripts utmost care and security.
• Preparation of day wise schedule as per the university time table and designing proper seat arrangements.
• Assigning invigilation duties to all the faculty members and monitoring accordingly.
• Safe and secured scripts are taken care and restored at the strong room.   

 II. Internal Exams   

•  Arranging internal examinations as per the academic calendar of the university.
  
•  Timely preparation of circulars, Question papers and time table with respect to mid-term examinations.
• Organizes midterm examinations and handing over the scripts to the respective faculty.
• Sensitizing all the faculty on the SOP issued by CCE periodically if any and monitoring on their scrupulous implementation.
• Maintains an authentic record of sem wise result analysis encompassing group wise and Lecturer wise without delay.

 

Besides discharging all the above mentioned duties and functions, the cell takes utmost care in organizing uninterrupted and scrupulous commencement of every examinations that comes under its jurisdiction and achieves fulfillment in this regard.
