BotanyDepartment was established in the year 1989 with Biological and physical sciences at intermediate Level and chemistry, Botany, and Zoology at graduation level. The Department aims to provide knowledge and skills to rural students. The department has well equipped state of art laboratories. The B.Sc (BZC), English medium programme was introduced in the academic year 2015-2016. General electives and value added courses were introduced in the curriculum. The department of Botany, SGK GDChas a medicinal garden to promote and nurture endangered medicinal plants.
